Real jasmine tea is properly ONLY made from today's plant.  This one is the champagne of its class

Usually export jasmine tea is usually made by layering jasmine petals on top of the tea leaves, then more tea then more petals.  After a time the tea leaves have taken some of the jasmine scent, the blossoms are discarded and the tea is dried and sold for export

The REAL jasmine tea from China starts with fresh blossoms picked in the morning ..and with your own plants, you too can have the REAL thing

Then, in the evening, the flowers are the most aromatic.  At that time a pinch of tea leaves are rolled with a single jasmine bloom into balls called pearls.  The pearls are then brewed to make authentic jasmine tea (fresh)
