Dwarf Yellow Poinciana is pretty rare.  We know of only a few here in Broward County, Florida

Perhaps the primary feature is this Yellow Poinciana is such a cute small tree.  The tree above is at least 20 years old and only about 12 feet tall, if that.  We have not seen it grow taller in years, but somewhat wider

This rare tree is rated as low as 7-10 feet so Yellow Poinciana is a true dwarf suited to growing in pots and other small spaces or outdoors in all of zone 10 and most parts of zone 9

In pots, you will enjoy these gorgeous yellow flowers most anywhere for spring and summer bloom performance.  Also, in pots, you likely will have yours as small as 3-5 feet.  Bonsai is possible as well

Flowers have the same intensity as the Royal Poinciana.  Also, you enjoy the same wonderful compound fine textured leaves which provide the very desirable "broken shade" affect beneath
